This site is in the Green Belt, and we believe no very special circumstances have been demonstrated that would justify the development proposal in this location.

The proposed development represents a clear encroachment into open countryside, with severe impact on its openness and character, and it constitutes an inappropriate urban extension. The pending Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill as well as repeated Ministerial statements make clear the Government’s intention to retain the Green Belt in its present form.

We urge the Council to refuse this planning application.
