‘Brookfield Riverside’ mixed use development

Land west of the New River, which is within the Green Belt, is being proposed for a new link road for this development. We object strongly to this proposed encroachment into the Green Belt; the link road should instead be incorporated into land presently allocated for the development.

We urge the Council to address this issue with the developer. The Green Belt is especially significant in this area, where degradation has taken place and there is the constant threat of unauthorised development and activities.
