2024 Children’s Art Competition – Results

12th September 2024

Our Children’s Art Competition is a long standing and well-loved part of the CPRE Hertfordshire calendar. In 2024 the theme was ‘Why I love the Hertfordshire Countryside’.

The competition aims to encourage primary school aged children and their families to connect in a personal way with the Hertfordshire countryside. This year more schools have participated than ever before and we have received many, many fantastic artworks. It is wonderful to have received so much support for this well-loved competition which the children so enjoy and we receive great feedback from those who take part:

' The children have really enjoyed thinking about what aspects of our local countryside they love.'

' Our little art club really enjoyed discussing and drawing the beautiful things around us, the children seemed very inspired 😊'

' We have loved taking part in this competition!'

Winning artists will receive a prize and certificate, commended entries will also receive a certificate. In addition, the overall winning school will receive £500.

We thank all our entrants and the schools that have supported the competition and encouraged their pupils to enter whether in class, in an art club or as an optional home activity.

See below for the gallery of winning art works!
