St Albans City & District Draft Local Plan, our initial review

St Albans City & District Council is conducting a public consultation on its new Draft Local Plan to 2041. The consultation deadline is 25th September 2023 and we urge all local residents to comment on the proposals, as the Plan will directly affect everyone.

The consultation documentation is very extensive and we have completed our initial review and analysis. We have a number of significant concerns, including the proposed release of 792 hectares of Green Belt land for development.
