Outline application (access sought) – Construction of up to 93 dwellings, a community building and new vehicular access

This planning application follows the withdrawal of application 5/2023/0405 for 110 dwellings on the same site. CPRE Hertfordshire objects in similar terms to this new application. The site is in the Green Belt and is not proposed for allocation in the Submission Local Plan. We urge the Council to refuse this inappropriate proposal on the basis that very special circumstances have not been demonstrated to clearly outweigh the many harms that would be caused.
