CPRE Hertfordshire objects strongly to this application. The land identified for this proposed development is located within the London Metropolitan Green Belt as identified in the adopted East Herts District Plan.

The Applicant’s Planning Statement asserts that there are ‘very special circumstances’ as required by the NPPF. These assertions profoundly misinterpret the requirements of ‘very special circumstances’ and we urge the Council to refuse permission for this damaging speculative application.
