Permission in principle for erection of 5 x dwelling houses together with parking, landscaping and access

This is a speculative application for five large dwellings outside the settlement boundary of Benington. The application omits any significant consideration of key Local Plan Policy GBR2 – Rural Area Beyond the Green Belt – and its purpose of maintaining this as a valued countryside resource. This proposal would introduce development which is deeply injurious to the rural character of the area, and we urge the Council to refuse permission.
