This application seeks change of use of agricultural land to create archery range with parking spaces, plus installation of photovoltaic solar panels.

CPRE Hertfordshire does not object in principle to the use of this land for archery, as this falls within the criteria for appropriate exceptional land uses within the Green Belt. Our concerns relate to the proposed car parking area and the modular buildings that are proposed. We urge the Council to place robust conditions on any permission granted in order to maintain the rural character of the location.
