Whitwell and St Paul’s Walden

A circular walk of 4.6 miles. This walk begins and ends at the recreation ground car park on Bradway, just east of the B651 in Whitwell.

The village of Whitwell in the Parish of St Paul’s Walden has attractive timber-framed and Georgian buildings along its High Street. Our walking route explores quiet farmland and ancient woodland, with views of The Bury, a childhood home of the late Queen Mother. As an option, this walk can be combined with our Whitwell and Bendish walk, for a single longer walk of about 8 miles in total.
