Ayot Greenway and the Lea Valley

This 4.6 mile circular walk takes in some lovely countryside in the Brocket Hall estate, through the Lea Valley, and along the Ayot Greenway.

The route includes a short section of The Lea Valley Walk, a 50 mile long-distance path from the source of the river near Luton to the mouth of the river at the Thames in east London.

Our route also includes a section of the Ayot Greenway which follows the old branch railway line that once linked Welwyn Garden City with Wheathampstead, Luton and Dunstable.
