Wallington and Clothall

This is a circular walk of 4¾ miles, starting in Wallington, east of Baldock in north Hertfordshire.

The route also visits Clothall. Both villages had populations of 150 at the last census. The villages have mediaeval churches with some interesting features, as well as other historic buildings. Wallington is also renowned as the home, for a few years, of the author George Orwell.
