Outline planning application (with all matters reserved except means of access from Shottfield Close) for residential development (Use Class C3) with associated landscaping, parking and ancillary works.

The site for this proposed development of 84 dwellings is in the Green Belt, and the application argues that the site constitutes ‘grey belt’. We robustly disagree. This is high quality landscape adjacent to Heartwood Forest that should be maintained as open countryside. We urge the Council to refuse permission for this inappropriate speculative development.
