Land West of High Road, High Cross

• Outline planning permission for the erection of up to 36 dwellings with all matters reserved except for access.

Similar to a recent planning application for land east of High Road at High Cross, we object to this inappropriate speculative proposal. The proposed development site is in the Rural Area Beyond the Green Belt designated in the East Hertfordshire Local Plan. We believe the proposed development is contrary to Local Plan policies GBR2 and VILL2, as well as the made Thundridge Neighbourhood Plan which includes High Cross. We urge the Council to refuse permission.
