The proposed development is in a relatively isolated location within the Green Belt between Hitchin and Stevenage. We entirely refute the applicant’s assertion that the site is ‘grey belt’. The application is not supported through the Local Plan process and we urge the Council to refuse permission for this highly inappropriate speculative development.
