Dacorum Future Local Plan – Scoping Stage – Sept 2026

Dacorum Borough Council is commencing preparation of a new Local Plan covering the period to 2045. The Government has put into place a new process and timetable for local planning authorities, and this first consultation is a generalised Scoping Stage. No specific sites are proposed.

Our consultation response is available for download below. CPRE Hertfordshire believes that Dacorum must balance the need for economic growth and new housing with protecting and valuing the Green Belt and the countryside, nature, waterways and valued green spaces.
