Winter is here but outside there is still much to enjoy
It might be cold but there’s still plenty of wildlife to enjoy in the garden
On some of the darker days in winter, gardens and the countryside seem empty of life. This means that the first stirrings of wildlife in January and February are extra-special. It’s a sound full of anticipation for the year ahead. The appearance of snowdrops, also known as Candlemas bells, is a sure sign that spring is on its way.
