The Hertfordshire Way, A Walker’s Guide
We’re pleased to offer the most up-to-date edition of the essential guidebook to The Hertfordshire Way. Edited by Bert Richardson and Ian Hirst, this is the official guide to the 195 mile waymarked footpath around our county.
The Hertfordshire Way long-distance footpath was first designated in the mid 1990s. In 2012 our then-Chairman and several of our volunteers walked The Hertfordshire Way and we’ve been big fans ever since. The route is fully waymarked and this guidebook makes it easy to follow. The book has route maps and guidance notes, as well as contextual information about points of interest along the way, including notes on history, architecture, wildlife, waterways, folklore, and famous local residents.
Published in 2017, this is the 3rd edition of the official guidebook to The Hertfordshire Way. The guidebook is £10, plus £4 packaging and postage charge per total merchandise order.
As with all our merchandise, proceeds help fund our work to protect, promote and enhance the Hertfordshire countryside for everyone’s benefit.
