Raise money to protect our countryside. Fundraising for CPRE Hertfordshire will help us to continue our work protecting Hertfordshire’s countryside for generations to come.
Whether you have a fundraiser in mind or are looking for inspiration – we can provide you with all you need to get started with your fundraising.
From setting up a sponsored walk – as the three Hertfordshire Way walkers shown above did – to organising a cake sale, you can help raise funds in aid of our charity in many ways.

How about setting up a Facebook birthday fundraiser
It’s easy to set up a Facebook birthday fundraiser, here’s how:
- Visit the Facebook fundraising page
- Click on “Select Charity” – we are listed as CPRE Hertfordshire
- Choose how much you want to raise
- Decide when you’d like your birthday fundraiser to end
- You can edit the text or the image – and then just click “Create”!
Send in the money you’ve raised

Visit our online donation page to pay by card.
By cheque
If you’d like to send a cheque, please make it payable to “CPRE Hertfordshire” and post, along with a letter or note outlining your fundraising activities to: Abby Coften, CPRE Hertfordshire, 31a Church Street, Welwyn, Hertfordshire, AL6 9LW. Please remember to provide your contact details so we can thank you!

A big thank you to all our supporters who raise funds for us on Give As You Live.
If you’re not familiar with Give As You Live, please sign up today. Participating in Give As You Live is completely free for you, and retailers make a donation to CPRE Hertfordshire whenever you shop online.
It’s easy – just sign up for free and choose CPRE Hertfordshire as your designated charity. Then when you do your online shopping, the retailer sends us a percentage of the amount that you’ve spent.
The most important thing to remember is to start from the Give as You Live website each time you shop. Once there you log on, then select the retailer you wish to shop with and do your shopping as normal. Once your shopping is complete CPRE Hertfordshire will receive a donation from the retailer via Give as You Live.
There are over 6,000 leading stores to choose from. This includes all the well-known general retailers like John Lewis and Tesco, plus lots of specialised retailers including Boots, B&Q, Waterstones, Holland & Barrett, Hotel Chocolat, and Interflora. It even includes travel companies like British Airways, Expedia, Travelodge, lastminute.com and Trainline.
This is a free and easy way to support the countryside you love, and we are very appreciative of the help we receive in this way. So far, your online shopping has generated more than £900 in retailer donations to CPRE Hertfordshire!
