2019 Children’s Art Competition - Results

This is a long standing and well-loved part of the CPRE Hertfordshire calendar, in 2019 the theme was The Trees of Hertfordshire. The children were asked to think about trees; what they look like from a distance or close up, the ecosystems they support and how trees help to keep a balance in nature and the benefits they bring to health and wellbeing. The trees could be in the countryside, in their garden, school grounds or anywhere else. We hope this encourages children to enjoy the natural world through art

This year our walks will explore more of Hertfordshire’s beautiful countryside and diverse landscapes.

The 2019 Autumn Walk is a 4.6 mile circular walk which takes in some lovely countryside in the Brocket Hall estate, through the Lea Valley, and along the Ayot Greenway.
