Countryside campaigners CPRE Hertfordshire are calling on St Albans district residents to oppose their Council’s attempt to impose Housing Targets, and consequential development sites in the Green Belt, based on a flawed interpretation of national policy. Residents have only until this Sunday 23 November to comment on the draft Strategic Local Plan.

Countryside campaigners, CPRE Hertfordshire, are delighted that their Hon. Director, Kevin FitzGerald, has received a national CPRE award for his outstanding voluntary contribution to campaigning for his beloved Hertfordshire countryside for almost 35 years.
