CPRE Hertfordshire's strength lies with the team of volunteers who support our work to protect Hertfordshire's countryside, can you help?

Contributions and expertise vary enormously - whether in finance, marketing, administration or in planning, every little helps.  What we have in common is a passion for the Hertfordshire countryside and a desire to protect and enhance it for now and for future generations.

We are currently looking for

Senior Planning Volunteer  Due to the upcoming retirement of one of our most experienced Planners, we are recruiting for a new part-time volunteer with good understanding of Planning process, policy and legislation, to analyse planning applications that most significantly impact on Hertfordshire's countryside and to formulate CPRE's response.  More details.

Planning Team Volunteers - Application Screening  We would like to expand our team of part-time volunteers who provide the essential first trawl and preliminary research of planning applications that may be inappropriate for the Hertfordshire countryside.  The role requires no previous experience, takes up only 1-2 hours per week, and can be performed flexibly at home.  More details.

Trustees Over the next few years a number of our Trustees will complete their terms of office. We would like to recruit new Trustees this year to provide continuity and to help govern the charity and guide our future work. More details.
