East Herts District Council (EHDC) draft plan, which includes taking land out of the Green Belt so that 13,500 houses can be built without trespassing on the Green Belt, comes before a planning inspector next week, starting on 3 October. If anyone is as opposed to this as CPRE Hertfordshire, this is the last chance to make your voice heard.

 

This 4.7 mile circular walk was devised by CPRE Herts' former Chairman David Irving and test walked by Trustee Eliza Hermann. The walk starts and finishes at the Red Lion public house in Breachwood Green in North Hertfordshire.

This is a circular walk of just over 5½ miles devised for us by Elizabeth Hamilton (shorter route available).

This walk explores quiet countryside to the east of the village of Walkern with an optional short diversion to visit Ardeley, and was devised by David Irving and walked by Elizabeth Hamilton.
