The 2019 Late Summer Walk is a circular route of just over 5 miles, starting in Sarratt, which explores the peaceful valley of the River Chess (see below), partly in Three Rivers District in the south west of the county.

This 5.7 mile circular walk takes in some lovely undulating farmland and woods around Flamstead in Dacorum Borough.
For CPRE's route, the start and finish are at the free car park at the junction of Friendless Lane and Mill Lane on the northwest side of the village.

The 2019 Early Summer Walk is a figure of eight route of just over 5½ miles, starting in Aldenham, which explores surprisingly peaceful countryside in Hertsmere District in the south of the county.
CPRE Hertfordshire has considered and objected to a major proposed Motorway Service Station in the Hertfordshire Green Belt south of Kings Langley.
The location of this scheme will bring further congestion to often grid - locked roads around M25 Junction 20.

The 2019 Spring Walk is a circular route of just over 3½ miles, starting in Standon, which explores the peaceful valley of the River Rib to the south of the village.
The walk starts and finishes at Standon which is situated on the A120 around 6 miles north of Ware, 6 miles west of Bishop’s Stortford and 1 mile east of the A10. Turn south into the High Street off the A120 just to the east of the bridge over the river. Park on the High Street near the church.
