This is a long standing and well loved part of the CPRE Hertfordshire calendar and this year’s theme was The Sky at Night.
We all love to get out and enjoy the Hertfordshire countryside. CPRE Hertfordshire has as its two prime objectives, the celebration and protection of Hertfordshire’s countryside and the rural population living there. The Rural Living Awards are all about celebrating rural communities, particularly individuals, groups and businesses that sustain or improve living in a rural community or sustain or improve the rural environment.
CPRE Hertfordshire is celebrating 90 years as a charity commited to the protection of the rural environment within hertfordshire, as part of our ongoing celebrations we sponsor a "Childrens Art Competition" , encouraging children to enjoy our countryside through art. Each year we invite all the primary schools within Hertfordshire to enter this competition, if you would like your child to participate then we would encourage you to speak to your childs teacher.
