Broxbourne Borough Local Plan 2018 – 2033

The current Broxbourne Local Plan was adopted by the Borough Council in June 2020 and covers the period from 2018 to 2033.  The Plan covers the areas of Cheshunt, Goffs Oak and Hoddesdon and provides for 7,700 new houses and 5,000 – 6,000 new jobs. We are maintaining continued vigilance regarding the Council’s adherence to their own policies regarding the Green Belt and countryside, particularly with regard to proposals for former horticultural and agricultural uses around Cheshunt and Goffs Oak.
