A new 'Garden Village' for Simondshyde?

The final consultation on Welwyn Hatfield’s Local Plan includes a proposal for 1,100 houses at Simondshyde north of Coopers Green Lane. The site is being promoted by Gascoyne Cecil Estates.

Pottery designer and businesswoman Emma Bridgewater is to be the new President of the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE), succeeding former Poet Laureate Sir Andrew Motion, who served four years in the role.
