CPRE Hertfordshire's strength lies with the team of volunteers who support our work to protect Hertfordshire's countryside, can you help?

Contributions and expertise vary enormously - whether it is a continuing role in finance, administration or in planning, or a  few hours spent stuffing envelopes, every little helps.

We are currently looking for

  • Trustees
  • a planning filing volunteer (alternate Friday mornings)
  • an admin assistant

Trustees Over the next few years a number of our Trustees will complete their terms of office. We would like to recruit new Trustees this year to provide continuity and to help govern the charity and guide our future work. More details

Planning Filing volunteer (alternate Friday mornings approx 2 hours) Do you love order and have a methodical mind? Even in these paperless days our Planning Team can still generate mountainous paper trails which need meticulous filing and archiving. Digital planning filing records also need to be updated. Our Planning Assistant, Linda Brookes, would be on hand to give you training, and you wouldn't need to be in every Friday morning. But it would have to be a Friday.

Admin assistant Our Office Manager, Gill Bryant, is looking for someone to help her out for 2-4 hours a week, on a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday. General office duties and some project work. Basic computer skills essential.

Interested in any of the above volunteering opportunities?
