We are currently looking for
- a webmaster/mistress
- a publications editor
- a planning filing volunteer (alternate Friday mornings)
- an admin assistant
Webmaster/mistress Experience with Joomla would be great, but training can be given. Keeping our website up-to-date and topical takes around half a day a week and can be done remotely or in the office.
Publications editor We currently produce two newsletters (spring and winter) and one Annual Review (summer) a year. Desktop publishing experience using your preferred software essential. Allow around a total of two working days per publication - but your hardest task will be gathering the copy from staff and volunteers!
Planning Filing volunteer (alternate Friday mornings approx 2 hours) Do you love order and have a methodical mind? Even in these paperless days our Planning Team can still generate mountainous paper trails which need meticulous filing and archiving. Digital planning filing records also need to be updated. Our Planning Assistant, Linda Brookes, would be on hand to give you training, and you wouldn't need to be in every Friday morning. But it would have to be a Friday.
Admin assistant Our Office Manager, Gill Bryant, is looking for someone to help her out for 2-4 hours a week, preferably on a Tuesday or Thursday. General office duties and some project work. Basic computer skills essential.
