2016 CPRE Hertfordshire walk of the month 1 Sandridge

countryside around Sandridge countryside around Sandridge David Irving

Sandridge is one of the oldest villages in Hertfordshire, dating back to 796 AD. The fields around the village were the scene of the Second Battle of St Albans in 1461. This is a circular walk of approximately four miles (6.5km).

The walk starts and finishes at Sandridge Village Hall, and has been devised for us by our Chairman, David Irving. Note: all walkers do so at their own risk. Suitable footwear and clothing are recommended. Map and directions
