We have been delighted to receive a total of 22 nominations for 2017's Rural Living Awards

A wide range of community- and environment-based projects in Hertfordshire have been nominated, including Redbournbury Watermill, Friends of Danesbury Nature Reserve, Groundswell regenerative agriculture, the River Stort Training Programme, Thrift Cottage Eco House, Bunkers Park, Cottered Voices, Good Gardeners and Walsworth Festival.

Says Rural Living Awards administrator, Gill Bryant,

"We are delighted that we have again received a high number of nominations. We are very grateful to all those who took the time and made the effort to make them. The judges' job will be extremely hard and we look forward to hearing the results at the presentation evening in County Hall in October. CPRE Hertfordshire's Rural Living Awards are all about recognising the amazing contribution made to rural living by enthusiastic volunteers”.

“The judges will be out and about over the summer visiting projects, talking to volunteers and making their decisions”.
