Winners in the Children's Art Competition 2016 Winners in the Children's Art Competition 2016

Don't forget! Entries to our Children's art competition: Hedgerows and Hedges are due in on 15 May

This year’s CPRE Hertfordshire children’s art competition is inspired by the hedgerows and hedges which schoolchildren see. This could be on their visits to the countryside, their walk to school or even around their school grounds or their garden at home.

Why are they there? Why are they important?   What are they made of? Which animals, bugs and plants make them their home?

The competition is open to Primary School children in Hertfordshire. There are 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each of the following age groups:

(1) Years 0/2 (2) Years 3/4 (3) Years 5/6

All winners will receive certificates and vouchers. The school submitting the highest number of winning/commended entries receives £100 in vouchers.

This years’ winning artwork will be displayed for two weeks at the Val Cansick Gallery, Fairclough Hall Farm, Halls Green, Weston from Saturday 5 August to Friday 18 August, 10am-4pm and also at our Rural Living Awards Evening in October.
