  • Hertfordshire Village of the Year 2008, Could it be yours? Full details and more on how your village can enter
  • BENINGTON WIND FARM: An application is expected for 3 120m high turbines at High Elms Lane, Benington. A case in S. Cambs. district may provide a precedent. An application for 15 wind turbines was turned down on appeal on the grounds that damage to appearance and character of the area would clearly outweigh benefits in terms of renewable energy generation. We are supporting considerable local opposition to the Benington proposal.
