Getting involved

Volunteers
The Hertfordshire Society's strength lies with the team of volunteers who support our work across the county. Contributions and expertise vary enormously - whether it is a few hours a month spent stuffing envelopes, a monthly meeting for one of our committees or weeks of preparation for a public inquiry, every little helps.

Current Vacancies

Why not join one of our Local Development Framework Groups? We aim to set up groups for each of the 10 districts in the County. Email us on office@cpreherts.org.uk if you would be interested in influencing planning policy at a local level.

Could you organise a fundraising event?
We're looking for volunteers to organise one-off fundraising events around the County: from concerts to coffee mornings
Could you spearhead our Schools' work?
We are looking for ways in which we can engage young people with our message of protection of Hertfordshire's environment.

Email us on office@cpreherts.org.uk if you would be interested.

Are you Handy? We could really do with an 'odd-job person' to tackle some simple maintenance work around the office from time to time

Contact Jo Simson 01438 717587 or email us at office@cpreherts.org.uk for further details of the above positions.
